The money printer has arrived in Japan.
Nintendo found it:
funny how ps2 sales still pwn ps3's.
The PSP sales are pretty good.
Remember, the PSP sales aren't bad. It's just that it's Nintendo that are selling a crapload.
I'm curious... besides the graphic are there numbers?
DS Lite 600,000
Xbox 360 11,000
GBA SP 2,000
Hmmm, well the PS3 isn't doing THAT bad... it's just the DS kicking ass.
Here are the overall top 10 best-selling games in Japan for May 2007:
# Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions - 241,904 (PSP) Square Enix
# Final Fantasy XII: Revanant Wings - 180,260 (DS) Square Enix
# Super Paper Mario - 156,642 (Wii) Nintendo
# Wii Sports - 140,704 (Wii) Nintendo
# Momotarou Dentetsu DS: Tokyo & Japan - 124,223 (DS) Hudson
# Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree - 113,035 (Wii) Nintendo
# New Super Mario Bros. - 112,486(DS) Nintendo
# Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes a Day - 103,610 (DS) Nintendo
# Shining Wind - 101,138 (PS2) SEGA
# Yoshi's Island DS - 97,331 (DS) Nintendo
I didn't expect some of those games in a top 10.
The PS3 is doing really bad.

I actually expected it to sell like 30,000 less with it's price.
I'm impressed with the DS.
I'm assuming that those are the monthly figures. Its interesting to note that PS3 is outselling 360 by 4 to 1 despite its size, price and lack of games. Brand loyalty maybe or maybe the Japanese distrust foreign products.
