Thread: The Darkness

I saw a video and later checked their webpage (http://www.2kgames.com/thedarkness/local.htm)
It's a game... about a comic.

A first person shooter but with some demon stuff, i don't know all the details since i just saw it.
So... the guy you control is like the host for "The Darkness" and is the anti-hero of the story, it seems really good and a bit different than the latest FPS.
Jackie (the guy) was chosen by The Darkness to be the host because of his capabilities and desires (or something like that).
You go on killin' guys and the demons can eat them <.<, you can control the souls of "very evil guys" and use them to your heart's content. There's not too much else that has been shown.

It'll only go for Xbox 360 and PS3... so i'll just have to convince a friend of mine to get it.


Any thoughts about the game?

I played some of it at the New York Comic Con. It's ok. I would give it a 3 out of 5.

I saw the gameplay for this a while ago, looks like a stiff FPS, creativity was lacking at the time too. Game was nothing but nice graphics.

Is that so? Meh, i just got exited <.<

Still, i'll wait until it is released, maybe it gets better.

I hope so, the storyline really intersted me.

The game is based on comic. I won't buy the game but I will definitely rent it...
