Well, fixes 99% of problems anyway (yesI pulled that number out of my ass).

I heard there was a problem with using old controlers on the PS3 though, like the GH controller or an arcade pad. Anyone know if they fixed that?

^ that is true. Old controllers dont work, but i believe there's a 3rd party adapter for the ps3 that suppose to connect to the usb ports that then allows u to use ps2 controllers. Not sure if GH or GH2 works with it though.

Hardly anything to relate to the thread. Unless Wii plays PS2 games I don't see where the initial discussion was heading.

There has been a adapter available for some time Pelican. Personally I would wait because I heard some people not feeling that this adapter was up to snuff but it does infact work with gamepads and whatever.

Well theres not much for me to say right now, cause i'm no where near home to play it.

    Graphics look really good.

dont know bout the story right now at the begining of the game except a war is going on.(1st chapter of the game)

The 2D map scrolling is intresting in its own way. like when your fighting your moving 2D of course but really only in a circle( sounds easy but not the case when a whole bunch of enemys attack you)

The Fighting is the best part for me. quick moves, and magic( thats all i know so far.)
all and all its a pretty intresting game at the moment.

Heres what the Back of the game says:
Welcome to the lavishly illustrated world of Odin Sphere!
Lands of snow, emerald forests ad chasms of fire beckon you.
Play five Magnificenly hand-rendered characters in the enchanted fairy realm of Erion, filled with mythical beasts and gargantuan monsters. A masterwork, a feast for the senses, the kind of visual experience that every gamer dreams possible, but rarely plays.

Breathtaking art; sprites that almost breathe off the screen and monsters that span well beyond it!

Five playable characters, each with their own attacks and spells!

Grand orchestral scores by acclaimed composer Hiroshi Sakimoto!

"...a heretofore unseen level of detail and animation... the action and systems are masterfully executed...
...this is a perfect game. 10/10"
    -Play Magazine

I hope this helps some. oh and you can choose which fully voiced dialogue: English or the original Japanese version.
