Damn Dark Swarm is so annoying, there's like no way to counter it.
Oh boy, surely yesterday is one of my happiest day. Been waiting for SC2 for quite some years. too bad that the released date is still n/a. Can't wait to see what will happen to Raynor and Kerrigan..
I sucked with SC's single campaign, needed a cheat to finish it >.< .
My fav faction is the protoss, sure it needs a lot of mineral. But i love Carrier and the ability to spawn Photon cannon almost instantly ^_^...
But my fav quote is : "Warning, nuclear missile detected"...
ozarugold : U think that it is the same with C&C too ? I thought that was only my own thought. There is a general bar in the left side of the command interface unit. That remind me to generals too, almost make me sceptical is this a mod built in C&C or a true SC2? But seeing the zealot model, vulture and the goliath ( i think it is goliath right, but it is stronger i think ), it must be real i think....
LONG LIVE HIME-SAMA. MY LIFE FOR RUMBLANDIA!
I hear that the old units got overhauls complete with abilities and such. Pretty sweet.
Zealots can now sprint for a distance, Marines have shields, Dragoons are now called "Immortals" and now have a hell of a lot more armor and shielding.
I'm so pumped for this game.
Why doncha just watch the gameplay vids?
they be on youtube.
Also: Base defense no longer works what with units that can now hop over terrain, wurms that can disgorge zerglings every-fucing-where, and so on.
I can't even imagine what the terran super-unit is going to be. Besides the ultimate base-cracker, that is.
Uhh... Dragoons = Immortals? WTF?

cuz then like 1 immortal will take our 10 seige tanks?
and yeah, they didnt say anything about the new units for terrans except for those pistol wielding guys.
Siege tanks will still kick ass.
The Immortals were created because in SC the protoss player is the one that has the most trouble when defending against an early siege tank atack. The teran has to bring another unit to kill the immortals, or 'desiege' the tanks.
At least that's what i think.
Still, the immortal will obviously have a limit to his shield, if you send 1 immortal against 10 siege tanks i'm pretty sure the immortal won't survive.
@ZeonMX: Check the webpage for SC2. It clearly states that the dragoons are NO more, they are replaced by the Immortals, wich are pretty much a stronger type of dragoon.
i believe zergs have the hardest time defending against siege tanks. They can only stop the siege tank if a lot of zergs are present. So they can close in and not get hurt. Dragoons have long range (not as long as siege tanks, but close enough) and mixed in with a few zealots, they can kill siege tanks.
Uh... NO, you can get zerg queens almost as quickly as one get's tanks, and they are cheaper than tanks.

Believe me, 12 marines + 6 medics + 4 tanks can cripple dragoons and zealots. Take into account that i'm talking about early game. The resources one cobtains CAN give enought zealots + goons to outpower the siege atack, but it's like an exact amount, the protoss needs careful micromanagement (and i mean GOOD micromanagement) in order to stop the atack.
I've played terran against a friend with protoss and it's always hard (not impossible) to stop siege tanks, simply because i send them very early... i just get 1 tank and send it together with any infantry i have (at least 1 medic)
