It is a freeware game i found on the site you get forwarded to..

Ahh.. the game the hardcore fans will hate .

ohhhhh it was created by a rpg maker. that makes sense, my friend does that sort of thing too. i dont want to play it tho because it might tarnish the spotless reputation of ff7 in my mind. how good can the plot possibly be since it was made by some random?

Aye aye, I agree. FF7 was too good to mess up by some fool trying to make a sequel himself. Let the people who don't care play it, but the purity of FF7 shall not be sullied!

whos gives a rats ass if this unofficial sequel made by some random person does not hold up, how can it spoil anything that you already experienced. It can only spoil itsself, it only purpose is mild entertainment.

and what is the difference between square enix and some random person, a random person could have better ideas than square enix, just look at the bull-shit job square made in the sequel FFX-2

Well, all opinions aside as for quality of our recent FF games, here is one that most have probably run accross before. It is stricktly a fan made game, and has no relation to any of the FF games of square (as far as I know anyway, and other than the name of course). Haven't gotten around to playing it yet, think I'll DL it this friday.

Retarded? Didn´t you play the game? If you did, I think you didn´t complete the game.

Why would I finish a game I clearly don't like? Getting to the third disc was more then a fair oppurtunity for it to become enjoyable for me.

It probably didn't help I played it only a year ago. Gameplay and plot are crap by today's standards.

Lots of games from the N64 and PSX era are like that... I can't play Ocarina of Time or Metal Gear Solid anymore just because it's soooo clunky compared to what we have today.

No appreciation. I don't see how the gameplay is all that different from the newer FF's, especially X-2 with the return of the ATB system. And how are they clunky? The only thing clunky about OoT is the graphics in comparison (and I see games that come out now that don't look as good). Thats one of the smoothest running games I have ever played. The controls and response are excelent for the interface and gameflow. What more do you want?

I'm going to go play a game of Space Invaders or Defender on the Atari 2600 out of spite now. Oooo... Qbert.
