I have a feeling that Square Enix is gonna make a remake. This is my theory! (^^) Since a lot of people liked FF7 they would predict that tons of people would camp out on their business lot to get a copy, thus creating mass chaos in the streets. Pretty lame eh??

I could not agree any more.

though a remake of FF VII would be freggin shweet.

Frankly I'd be happy if they just released a finished version of the game.
I'm probably one of the few people who think the graphics look good as they are, I think they give the game a certain charm (although the battle graphics could do with an update).

i didnt mind the graphics back then. =D I thought/think the game is godly, but i would think it would be sweet as hell if they remade it with even half decent graphics and i think the game would be kick ass. Just i hope they if they do remake it, they don't change things too much. I would LOVE to have the ATB back, the material system unchanged, etc. Add a few new things sure, like monsters and side quest, but IMO, definitely don't change the battle system.
