Thread: Naruto SHIPPUDEN gekitou ninja taisen

well im a big fan of the gekitou ninja taisen series for the gamecube and currently own #4 i was wondering if anyone had the new shippuden 1 for the wii which is based off the series for the gamecube, i wanted to know the quality of it and if the battle system is legit, i was planing on buying a japanese wii + wiikey for it but not sure if it was worth it or not, so give me your opinions on how well the game is and if its worth the money etc etc

I'm going to say........dont do it.
You maybe disapointed after you play it. It looked cool but to buy a Wii(japan version) for that game? you should pass and get something else.

I dont know why but those games usually have really bad gameplay. If they had sold the rights to a foreign company(eidos, rockstar...) i bet those foreign companies would do a much better job. I dont know if its close mindness or lack of visions on the japanese publishers part, but those games(anime to games) always suck. from bleach, to naruto, to one piece. All the games suck. Why do you think they never make it to the US????? and if they do, its because of the popularity of their respective anime/manga franchises.

I agree with you on everything you said, they usually dont do a very good job with games based on anime.

i understand what u guys say, but the companies who made one piece etc are ps2 and ps3 which are horrible on their system, the mulitplayer for the gamecube for the taisen series is well worth the money in my opinion and its been extended to wii so yea
