Thread: Super Paper Mario (Wii)

I just got this game( 4/11/07) and think its pretty good. The game so far is easy to me cause of the 3-D flip option, but i'm only on chapter 1 still.

If any of yall played it or own one, what would you Rate this game 1-10?

Ugly 3D graphics. -0.3
Too much reading. -0.2
Oversimplistic fighting. -0.2
It's still just a Gamecube game. -3.3
Bring on the real Wii games, fuckers. Just because you want to sell more Wii systems is not a reason to not have released it on the Game Cube as well. And see, it resulted in a poor Wii game when it could have been a great Game Cube one.

Next up, Resident Evil 4.

i was just going to ask if it was the ported gamecube game...

do you use the wiimote in any special way?

Yeah, as a flashlight.

lol wow.. you thought it was that bad for real? i do agree with you on some of the Wii games being questionable as into why even put out these games to consumers. But i have a bad feeling bout Resident Evil 4's controls, i have it on PS2 but never beat and let my far away cousin borrow it.

No but could've been on the Game Cube if minus the Wii Remote. The only way special way i can see right now besides pushing the "A" for fliping to 3-D is when you point to the screen with the remote to show - enemy status, charaters names, secret doors, etc. with the butterfly thats helping and following you. Oh and when you get caught in certain things the Wii remote show's you how to get out of it.

is it any good?? you know playing tennis or some sport as if moving your hand down and up not as if there is any useful. all that matters just the timing that's all.
i think the only reason why wii sold a lot is because of the cheap price compared to other console. the games kinda suck. dont wanna swinging again2 and again in playing zelda for 7 hours or so arent ya.

No, it's a very good GAMECUBE game. They pulled a Sony when they killed the Gamecube version.

Well when you put that way thats understandable, cause i do remeber hearing "Super Paper Mario" going to the Game Cube, then all info about it
disapered, reapearing When "Wii" was showing there video game line up.

I can agree that it doesn't do the Wii and justice, especially seeing as from what I've heard around it doesn't really use many of the Wii's special functions to an exciting level. But, I still plan on at least renting it just to check it out, for 7 dollars it really couldn't hurt.

wii is a new revolution of console, i agree with that. but, i think wii is design to be a team console not for individual player only. it's exciting when you played it wif ur friend but kinda bored when you're playing it alone...
