Thread: Program of Choice?

what program do you use to listen to your music? I hear winamp is popular but honestly i hate it. I use WMP11 right now and I hate it too, iTunes sucks as well imho... I wish I could go back to WMP10 but im too lazy to do it... =\

I like both Windows Media player & Winamp. Winamp you can create custom skins. I hate iTunes just the program its self is annoying.

the last time i had winamp, the crap would always just crash on me...why i dunno. So now i'm just using WMP11, which yeah it's got a good design, but i don't like it as much either. =\ Itunes only cuz of teh ipod. Otherwise it sucks too.

im starting to switch from Itunes to Windows media player. for me itunes is a love hate thing, i like how it lets you kinda sort things out easier and i've been using it for a while, it plays all my songs and ive come accustomed to it but i dont like how it has so many options i could care less about and that just get in my way. WMP plays the music and some movies, plus its a lot easier to use imo.

Thats the only thing that itunes is for, just for the Ipod. I hate it cause, I basically have 4 media players.

I use itunes only because of the ipod. other than that, I would use wmp.

I use the old style Winamp, not the new one. It's quick to load, efficient (low resource usage), has good sound quality and equaliser presets, and even though it looks pretty crappy by default there's a skin out there to suit everybody. Not only that, but I like how compact and customisable the interface is. I hate iTunes, and I'm neutral to WMP.

I've also got a Winamp plugin which lets me play Playstation 1 music files (.psf & .minipsf), which is a big plus for me. The entire FFVII soundtrack in this format is only 800KB and sounds exactly the same as the 4 disk OST.

I used Jet Audio ATM, have many functionality on it too. Can watch movie with it, convert Audio CD and many more >.<
