Looks like M$ is playing catchup in the hardware department. Too bad all youre sorry little "Pro" and "Core" 360s are no longer up to snuff. And when you factor in that obscenely overpriced exhdd for the older 360 models. The PS3s price is not something any xbot can complain about.

well considering the span of time these rumors have been around... i dont think its a April Fools Joke. That and its still March 28th. =\

i've always said that in actuality the 360 is more expensive than the ps3. For all the functions u have for the ps3, for the 360 to match up, its price is more.

i know it isnt, but if it was it could be a very well played out joke. >_<

back on topic, i wonder how many 360 owners will actually get this. i like how it mentions "its $20 less than a 20gb ps3" which will probably be a selling point. -_-

nah, i dont believe its a april fools joke. The reps said it and everything.

and i believe no 360 owner is going to dish out another $500 for a 360 "elite." They'll just be dishing out $200 for the 120 gig hard drive. Well, thats what all the ppl i asked are going to do at least. =\ It'd be dumb for them to re-get another 360.

Meh, who cares if it's black and has an HDMI cable. I don't care about gimmicks like those, my current one works just as good as this "Elite" one.

its a marketing ploy. Look, everybody already knows that the PS3 is a more powerful machine than the Xbox, the only problems is, it doesn't have good games, tha'ts the only difference.
Plus looks like they wont even add the HD=drive to this so called elite xbox.....

The comeback for that one is that suposedly MS "gives" you the choice of wether to purchase those functions or not.

Of course thats just corporate BS designed to sell you a console pretty much piece by piece.

I still cant believe that MS decided to fuck the existing 10m userbase for the 360.
