So its like a playable version of secondl life with graphics that are actually bearable. Looks cool, but I'd like to see how the public places are moderated. Its annoying that you have to buy extra clothes and furniture, what would be col though is if comunity websites (like ST) could set up their own private places, much like some sites have their own IRC channel. Of course I don't think many ST users are going to have a PS3 for a long time (if at all), heres hoping xbox does something similar.
Finally some good news for the PS3!

Something to bash the Wii with maybe, "anything you can do we can do better". I like it, and it sure does look like it has has more depth than the Wiimee thingys.
Sort of reminds me of when they revealed the x-axis controller.

you don't NEED games period, they are nice to have though, and so is this :P, and it's free, and you don't HAVE to use it, one thing that just came to mind that would be cool, is in the clip they got a guy playing in a virtual arcade, i wonder if it'd be possible to get your own arcade machines in your house, like a game room :P now that'd be cool
