Of course, there has to be bad news, and it's kind of big: Herman says that Nintendo is not letting publishers add online functionality to games, VC or retail, and probably will continue this restriction throughout 2007.

Did you not read? Nintendo isn't letting the developer add online functionality at all. At that rate, it's not that it isn't out yet, but it will never be out.

And just before anyone else posts something smart, online gameplay extends the lifespan of a game. Heck, Resistance is worth getting due to the massive multiplayer, Gears of War's Versus mode is really good and who wouldn't want an online mode for SSBB?

Is that why pokemon battle revolution going to be online? and its already out in Japan. Also ssbb might be online. Super Mario Strikers Charged and Batallion Wars 2 are anounced to be online and bt2 its suppose to come out this spring.

And there is a rumor that blazing angel might have it since on the box it saids online but i dont know we will find out on the 20th when its out.

They can announce whatever they want because they can change whatever they want as well.
Next-gen online does not start till Nintendo says so.
