Thread: PSP cracked?

Here is an article I came by, and i dont understand what it means , such as what is so about it being cracked.
If anyone knows what its about I would appreciate it if they told me, heres the link:

the article is self explanatory. In essence, with it being cracked you can play pirated games (games that were burned onto a umd) or run other programs on there now.

It's been like that for over almost two years now. =\
Sony patches it, hackers crack it and repeat.

sucks for people thats 2.5 and up XD you need to downgrade it to the original form it came in which is 1. something i dont know i forgot. so far last time "i" checked downgrading from just 2.5 alone was still in Beta. you can downgrade it but you have to do searching your own and good luck and i will be laughing my ass off when you screw up and brick your psp =] and by bricking that means locking up your psp so its pretty much useful as a brick =D

haha all it is just uploading homebrew on your psp and playing Emulators which can be fun but tiring. my psp is collecting dust right now im planing on trading it in for a DS Lite.

its ok if you have a 2.6, its only if you have a 2.8 and up that REALLY sucks(my friend upgraded mine to 2.8, dam him!)...and bricking usually only happens when people dont read enough info about how to do it correctly or dont look for the good quality ones.

If there is one thing I have learnt about Sony products, its that they're fucking delicate. And that is why people with half a brain and no electronics or technical expertise don't fuck with their consoles or any other electronic devices.

Seriously, how hard can it be to read the instructions before doing anything?
