Peter Moore knows how to adapt to the market, unlike Sony who just like to ask their fans to bend over for some more assrape.

i'll agree with this when something FUN comes out for the wii, that isn't a port, and i don't really want to count wii sports, or wii play, since they're not real full games, more like demos of how the wii remote could be used, wii sports has been the funnest thing i've played on the wii so far, and while it is pretty fun, that isn't really saying much for the wii, when their best game is a tech demo.(i'm not counting zelda because it's on GC)

to me i think its all about enjoying it, not about what has the better graphics or better specs. you have to admit there are alot of games with horrible graphics but fun as hell. The Wii is fun and its fun on all sorts of levels, the PS3 to me is just a gimic. i would pic the Wii over the PS3 anyday.

if anything i believe the wii is more of a gimmick. Like Unforgiven said, there hasnt been any real good games for the wii (except zelda), it's just a good thing to pick up and play with friends. I honestly couldnt see myself playing wii sports by myself. The only game is Zelda as of now. I think the wii awesome, but i think it might become like the mario party games. The first one or two were awesome, but as each new one came out...it was the same type of mini games or whatever. So the developers have to stay creative to keep the wii fun.

and im not sure if you tried much of the Wii games, or your taste in what type of games you like to play. for one thing yes Zelda and Wii Sports is fun. two there are games that came out that are FUN like Wii Play which pretty much raises the bar higher in the Wii Sports category, Trauma Center Second Opinio is fun, I myself am a big fan of Racing, Drifting and the Car scene and GT Pro Series is a Fun game if your into Racing and Drifting. in GT Pro Series there is a big learning curb just like the Wii which intimidates people and makes them quit and say GT Pro Series is gay, but it is fun once you get the hang of it and play with other people. Warioware Smooth Moves is fun especially with a group of friends. the Wii is more of a system for people to gather with friends and family and get everone involved. there are a lot of fun games also soon to be coming out, i myself cant wait for the new Super Smash Bros.

That statement applies to everything in the world, not just the Nintendo Wii.

As for those that say it's a gimmick, a gimmick is a (mostly) useless feature added in just for novelty value and to catch people's attention. That word doesn't apply to something which is the single core feature of the system. I say if it's selling extremely well, and people are having fun, then it's a success.

Also, tell me of any console launch in the last 10 years which actually had more than one decent game. It was the same all the consoles of the last generation, and this generation too. In one year's time, THEN we'll see how well the new consoles are doing.

wiiplay is basically just another wii sports though,yeah i totally forgot about smooth moves, i really did enjoy the ds version, but it still is just a bunch of mini games, and i really hate that you can't do 4 players(to my knowledge) it seems like it would be a great party game if you could, trauma center is another pretty cool game, but it also is a ds port, and i think it plays better on that. i hate racing games mostly so i can't say anything about this gt thing. no doubt i think games will be coming out that do take advantage of the wii's control scheme, albeit some of the best won't(smash brothers melee)
i do still think it's funny though that the wii is only prasied for how amazing it is, and the ps3 is shit on by alot of people, even though software wise they're pretty much in the same boat, i guess wii is selling alot more, i don't know if that's because of zelda, or the hype, or just because everyone has 250$ burning a hole in their pockets :P

Well don't forget the new sonic its actually fun and not the crap we been getting.
