Thread: What kind of person would buy Blue Dragon

I sorta just want to know. Im not sure if i would want this. I considered buying dragon worrior (god i cant spell that word ever....) 8 but this im not sure on. On one hand its from the creators of all the best final fantasy games and akira toriyama who was the caracter designer for chrono trigger. and it is for the 360 only. I hope it doesnt only apeal to the kids around age 10 or 12 (im 15)

WTF are you talking about??? do you even have a 360? And Dragon QUEST (unless your in japan... ) 8 is exclusive to PS2. So unless you have both consoles and are stuck deciding ... wait you must be in Japan since Blue Dragon isnt out yet anywhere else... dude if you like FF and Akira Toriyama get DQ8

Get both. Seriously.

if you hate save points in dungeons and like long boring battles then get DQ8.

Hell, I want Blue Dragon. It looks sweet.

it's suppose to be a good game. Comes out in june-ish. Ppl in japan liked the game enough to help sell some 360's there....but then again the japanese like the weirdest things. =\

What i was saying in my first post was, i thought about buying DQ8 but i missed my chance and this game looked good. i just wanted to know if it would compare to DQ8 and if anyone else thought if it was a good game.

you best buy DQ8 first since there's at least a solid opinion of it as quite a lot liked DQ8. as for Blue Dragon, wait till someone you know has it, ask their opinion, and make your decision.

I do not know much about Blue Dragon, besides that it is been made by the man that created the Final Fantasy series. Still, about Dragon Quest VIII, comparing it to other Square-Enix releases, in my opinion:

Dragon Quest VIII > Final Fantasy XII > Kingdom Hearts II > Dirge of Cerberus

Sadly i live in a small town (school of about 100 kids) and no one who plays rpgs has a 360 (theres only two of those kids anyway). i guess i'll check back in this section of the site (or another) in june..
