Default Fucking kids and their fucking easy-ass games these days.

Back when I was a kid I played the original Zelda and got stuck in rooms that I couldn't die in--had to press reset and start the fucking dungeon from the beginning. Metroid had giant fucking pits that wouldn't kill you, too. Then you had to figure out which of the bazillion fucking passcodes got you closest without dooming you back to that damned pit. Super Mario Brothers had a lakitu that threw shit at you--he didn't fly around holding a camera for your like he was your bitch. He fucked you up, man. If you got stuck in the clouds in Super Mario Brothers 2 you had to LET LUIGI DIE. And Super Mario Brothers 3 had this fucking sun that assraped your mario so much YOU had third degree burns. Fuck you and your 36 hour games. Our games were 100 hour games that you still didn't finish because you couldn't LIVE to the last level. And our gameboys weren't these tiny-ass pieces of shit, either. No, we had monster mother fucking bricks that wouldn't fit into your backpack, let alone your pocket, and they used 4 AA batteries that you had to beg your parents to replace every two weeks because you played the hell out of it. None of this "recharable battery" bullshit, no. And if you turned it on and you got a solid black box you knew that something was wrong with your game, so you took it out and blew on it like a fat whore--for all you were worth. And we played our games going uphill both ways through the fucking snow, and we LIKED IT.

I dunno how many tries it took me to finish Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past after the Ice Palace and that damn 1 key - 2 locked doors puzzle that i usually get wrong and forces you to restart the damn game...

and stop bitching about easy games, go play Ninja Gaiden Sigma

I'd like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.
I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,
before the ship goes down, I've been making amends by making the rounds before the whole world ends

what's ironic is that i find those games way to easy now. and in mario 64 they did have lukita and he did throw more stuff at you not just hold a camera.

Hitman is still keeping it's level, refusing to have saves in the middle of mission and making them more complicated...

Eh.. I played games back then too. But at the same time, I was alot younger back then. When you're younger, you have way more time to put into games like that. I actually prefer games to be shorter now as with life, a job, etc, it's difficult enough to find enough time to get through a video game. Besides that, different people like different things in video games.

Agreed, but unfortunately for me I haven't come across a game where it made me want to throw out my t.v type mad. I'm just too good.

Man i remember the first Super Mario game or whatever for the brick gameboy. You started with limited lives from the beginning, and if you were good got some in the game. Wasn`t easy to complete it heh.

Mmm, I got the remake of A Link to the Past. Should tell you something that I could barely get to the first dungeon without dying. (Get to = mostly dead by the time I enter the dungeon.) Yeah. Some of those games are HARD.

...of course, not like I should be saying what's hard...
