Consoles are for people who cant afford $800 processors and two $600 Graphics processors anad $2000 monitors =D

That will run Crysis at medium-max settings at the native resolution of the LCD, which is 1440x900, already higher than the PS3/360's 1280x720.
PS3+HDTV (a crap one) $1300
360+HDTV (a crap one as well) $1100
But don't forget that you still have to get some decent speakers as well and other stuff like extra controllers and whatnot.

I earned enough to build a decent computer from scratch in about 4 months(with budgeting, while still paying for things like gas, food, rent and tuition).

Cute Jakko. I dont and wouldnt buy a 60 dollar t shirt so dont even pull that cat outta the bag. And in all of last year the money i spent on clothes wouldnt amount to nearly enough for a single GPU let alone a computer worthy of any high end PC game out there.
