Well it IS true that the most talented and celebrated developers tend to prefer the PC.
Gabe Newell --> Half Life
John Carmack --> Doom/Quake
Tim Sweeney --> Unreal
Will Wright --> Sims

What about Miyamoto?

Miyamoto isn't the grandaddy of modern gaming. Carmack is.

Miyamoto just created a large number of games that brought gaming into the living room for the family.

Actually I say that, yet I play more on the PC than on anything else; but it is annoying trying to control acceleration in a driving game when the accelerator only has two settings, on and off.

Xbox 360 controller and Windows Vista are your friends.

I don't want vista, its a waste of money.
I already have a PS2 controller hooked up to my PC, the problem is not every game supports it (the game can't recognise the buttons, and even then the buttons can't be used as analogue buttons, so I guess games need to change as well as hardware). Another annoyance is that most games don't have a deadzone programmed in for joypads (which is an absolute bitch when you're trying to drive straight).

If I say too much, Mr. Kutaragi might get really upset. I think that the PS3 is difficult to work with, but so was the PS2... I do have strong interest in creating something for the Xbox 360. In the US and Europe, it is selling, and I think it will sell a lot this year as well. I'm a fan of Gears of War as well, it's very interesting.

See its quotes like this that piss me off about Sony. No shame for me to admit unless its an RTS I dont game on my pc. But when my console of choice is being attacked from all angles by developers and Sony decides to ignore it I get mad... GODDAMNIT!!!! >:[

The 360 controller was desgined to run on Windows Vista as well. It's not as problematic as trying to make a PS2 controller work on PC.

if Kojima makes a PC game I hope its not a stealth action game though. Metal Gear is best on consoles, but I think he could make a truly kick ass FPS spinoff of the series on PC since that is where FPS's truly belong. Knowing he has the graphical team for it I would expect no less than Crysis ... just without the rumors of mediocre gameplay.
