Well, for N64 I use Project 64, there's another ones, but right now I don't remember
The games are either calles iso (if the original was a cd, for the PSX for example) or ROM (Read Only Memory) for cardridges.
BIOS means Basic Input Output System, the software needed for the console to work at all.
And there aren't any completely working PS2 emulators, the best ones can only play a few games and are slow like hell even on a better comp.
Same goes for Xbox and GameCube.
For N64 emus, there are either nineteen64 or projekt64, and for the PS1 I'd go with ePSXe.
I think PCSX2 is the closest ps2 emulator available at the moment
They claim that on a good computer FFX can be played to completion at 60fps
"Well, you've got more than three ounces of it, so it's going in the trash."
Yep, from what I've heard and read, PCSX2 is the only PS2 emu that's worth a try.
A slim PS2 is like $130. =\
some of us have no job or money, it is dangerous to leave your compound in my neighborhood. (borderline ghetto)

Go mow some lawns.
I do mow the lawns (plural) and work for dad without gettin paid
I guess since I live there and eat their food I'm in no position to bargain

I'm not sure about PS2 emulators, but what someone said before, Project64 I think is the best N64 Emulator out there.
I know a few PS1 emulators...
