Oh no they didn't!

hmm, yeah, I did play the Zelda Twilight Princess,

I just played it for 1 hour or so.

but yeah from that 1 hour, the graphics (from realistic point of view) and the sounds were not that impressive, the sounds seems dull, especially if you compared to wind waker and the Zelda ocarina of time and majora's mask.

well of course Wii doesn't have powerful graphics processor, either way it doesn't matter, because I think Nintendo never intended to make it anymore realistic than it already is, why? because I think Nintendo mainly wants the game feels like you are in a anime/cartoon like world, you don't want to make Link or super mario too realistic. But the overall feeling of the graphic is quite good.

as I already expected, I feel a little bit tired from all the hand movement needed to play the game lol,
But I wouldn't really know, until I play it more and see if gameplay really that bad (unrevolutionary).

although it think is a travesty to give a Zelda game less than a 9 .. this one might have deserved it due to the underwhelming next gen graphics and overly interactive control scheme... ill see if i ever play it

Well, it's got 96.8% on gamerankings, which is enough to put it at 2nd place(only losing only to OoT). Of course it still needs 4 reviews, and I doubt they would follow gamespot's review.

Regarding GS's review, I wouldn't mind seeing that score if Jeff had some legitimate points(come on, he said TP is too Zeldaish...), he managed to contradict all the other reviews, and to close my case, look at this piece of the Wii marathon:

This is one of the less pathetic moments(I watched the whole 4 hours. My eyes bled at the end). There were about 8 people in the marathon, Jeff was clearly one of the worst people there, he got owned in almost every match of every game.
EDIT:I shall ask a question: Are you hardware whor... junkies getting a Wii?

I'll get one next year when there's a more appealing library of AAA games.

The Wii is like the DS. First 8 months were crap and then the good games came out.

TP is just like Super Mario 64 for the DS. It's a Game Cube game ported to the Wii and why should I buy a new console now when I already have a Game Cube? The other games are just "tech demos" or games with really bad control schemes that try to show off the Wiimote+Nunchuck.
Like the DS boomed at the release of games that used the hardware really well (Nintendogs, Wario Ware Touched, Metroid Prime Hunters, Animal Crossing), the Wii will only be something that I will buy when it will have that equivalence.

I think I'll get one around March, SSB, Metroid and some good games should be out by then.

Everyone but gamespot considered TP's controller much better than the old control scheme, I'd consider that a good reason. If you look at IGN's review you'll see the reviewer loved the new controls so much that I was expecting him to say he tried to have sex with the wiimote. I know that not everyone had this love for the new controller, but it was a critical success as used in TP.

Good or not it's basically the same game. Spending $250 to play it on a Wii instead of a Game Cube is not something I can afford when Intel just released their Core 2 Quad processors.
I will have to buy Windows Vista Ultimate in January and in February/March there's the 8900GTX/2800XTX that are coming out. =\

I've been looking at the quad-core too. My goodammed AGP computer needs a replacement.

I'd rather spend $1000 (quad-core CPU) + $1300 (two GPU in SLI/Crossfire) to play Alan Wake at 2560x1600 than spend $250 to play Twilight Princess.

OMG, not an 8.8 topic...dude, you shoulda seen the fanboys on Gamefaqs. Like 60-70 pages of "8.8...WTF?!?!?" or "Jeff is a fat <insert 12 year old insult here>" or "Jeff is biased, he's a 360 fanboy!!!1" etc. Freakin retarded.

And yeah, this game rocks, I wish I could play it too etc. But, I'm getting it for the GCN thank you very much.
