Thread: Best PS2 Final Fantasy

so another chapter in the Final Fantasy series comes to an end, just like it did on NES, SNES, PlayStation and others the time is ripe to decide which is the best of the generation =] since half of us are probably still knee-deep in XII whaddaya think?

I dislike FFX as much as I hated VII and VIII. X-2 was just fan-service to the male players and XI is only worth playing on PC.

FXII wins by default.

i'd have to agree with jyuu. i'm not really into final fantasy but XII wins by default because X just sucked and jyuu already said the rest.

i also liked X alot, it was an impressive game and i liked X-2 (well the battle system really, best ATB evar imo but the story was... eh.) in retrospect i still havent finished either of them and im still workin on XII... kinda dumb on my part to make this thread... Y_Y

X was a good game. I don't know why people don't give it more of a chance. On the topic of FFXI, true it's a lot better on the PC, but I bet around half of the people playing FFXI play it on PS2 (which is why SE can't drop support for PS2 FFXI)

FF X is really good! I mean graphic wise n all. X-2 got superb graphic & good gameplay - fast and active, but story line just sucks.
