Thread: PS3 HDMI Line

If you've read the stats, you know that the $600 Deluxe version of PS3 isn't packing a HDMI line.

I'm getting the deluxe version, so I'm wondering, does anyone have suggestions for a good HDMI 1.3 line?

Searches come up with this company called Vividtech (http://vividtech.us) that say their line fits the standard. And my engineering buddies tell me that the Twisted Wire Flat Pair design is supposed to be better.
The same lines are also being sold on eBay. (http://cgi.ebay.com/Twisted-Wire-Pai...QQcmdZViewItem) There's actually feedback so maybe this seller isn't a scam.

There's this other company, Monster Cable, whose lines are also supposed to be really good. But they go for, what, $200 each? That's kind of expensive...

So, anyone have any suggestions?

It's a digital signal: 0 and 1. Either you get a signal.. or you don't!
Either it's 100% quality or none at all!

you know now that Jyuu puts it that way, Target had HDMI cables from General Electric on clearance for like 15 bucks... i should pick some up if theres any left

My 3.8GHz Core 2 with 4GB of RAM with an 8800GTX on two Raptors in RAID is far more powerful than that weak PS3. >.>

i thought windows said you only had 3gbs of ram

Windows does whatever it wants to do but other programs do see the full 4GB.
