    Default sony grrrr

    It appears that Sony has yet delayed the release of the PS3 to some areas around the world (except Japan and US the lucky bas2ards) to early next year which is 2007.

    Sigh they are sure losing the console war....

    PS3 = 600?
    games = 80 each
    controllers = 30?

    must have at least 3 games and xtra controller

    makes it ... 900$ roughly
    + tax = 6% for me so an extra 54$

    yep i wonder how many can spend 1000$ bucks that freely, compared to the roughly 300~600 of the other consoles

    I see ps3 losing
    but w/e

    I wouldn't mind spending $1000 or even $2000 on a games console because it would still be quite cheap compared to PC gaming. However, the PS3 doesn't seem to be able to live up to our expectations and that's why I am not getting it.

    I easily spend $6000 or so on a gaming computer, but with it, I know I am getting what I paid for. I play all my games at at least 1920x1200 and often at 2560x1600.
    Trust me, when you are used to that resolution, playing on a 360 (or even the PS3 in the near future) feels like playing on an Atari 2600.

    Even with the price tag many people will be getting a PS3 eventually. I'm a slave to the games more then the console, if all the games I wanted came out on Wii I wouldn't bother with PS3.

    for 1000$ you can have a very good gaming PC (of course it won't be as good as jyuu's extraterrestrial one), so i don't see the need to buy PS3 either

    It's because you're Bill Gates.

    Bill Gates or not, he makes an excellent point. You always know you are getting what you paid for with a PC if you have the knowledge.
    Dear cousin choppitychop89, you were a good relative, though I hardly knew ye.
