A good tech demo of the Wii in action.

Looks pretty damn intuitive. Now I hope they reconsider and somehow make SSB:B take advantage of this.

But isn't this the sort of thing where you don't know until you try it yourself?

the graphics felt sort of like better then PS2 but worse then Xbox
the games looked like they were alot of fun, but i wonder if it will be tiring to play like that

that battlion wars 2 and Red Steel looked beyond great to play, but im also wondering if i can get used to it

damn if Wii came out when i was 10 or 12 when i used to jump and turn the controller just out of instinct, (like when youre playing a driving game and you have like a weird sense to turn the controller on sharp turns), i would be like the god of wii

They want us to spend $199 (or more) for a freaking Game Cube peripheral. Nice.

I don't give a fuck about graphics. I'm in love with how the controller works.

Well if the Wii succeeds then nintendo finally made a smart move. One of the big problems i have with the PS3 and Xbox 360 is the gameplay doesnt change. They could have just kept it on the ps2 or xbox but its better graphics. I was so thrilled when nintendo showed the controller. Defiently be getting the Wii on launch day... When ever the bastards let me reserve it at ebgames

But you and I will probably both agree that the real money needs to go into our PC's, not some console. Before the announcement of the Wii, I pretty much doubted I'd get any console at all. After all, that's 200 dollars more towards pc parts.

But as it is, if I wait, I can spend around $100 to acquire this too. Not really a hit to my wallet.

my last and only console was a game boy (the first ones, big and grey, and expensive), and i've never been really interested in others to the point of buying them (and when i was too young i didn't have money anyway), but with the wii i might change my mind and finally buy one
why ? because it seems to be a lot of fun, pretty intuitive, and it's good to thank imaginative people for their great work by buying it ^^"


ps : thinking about it, i never had a console.. in fact it was my brothers that officially had them (2 gameboys)

I have a gameboy and a fake PS1 made in China that only plays special bootlegged discs, not the black PS1 discs...
I'm more focused on my computer too, don't really see the point of a console.

I'll probably get a Wii on launch. It looks very neat and fun, plus there's some good games coming out for it like Zelda TP, Mario Galaxy and Battalion Wars 2 (I liked the original and this one seems to be a nice sequel/upgrade to it).
