It will not break your PS2, but it might break your brain.

Oh wait, you don't have one. Go learn how to spell and type before you mess around with $200 machinery.

For the record, I'm not too familiar with the slim models, but my old fat model works just fine with the modchip installed. However, there are different kinds of modchips as well, so I can't say for certain.

Holy crap! I wish I could ban you for idiocy and crappy English. You live in Toronto, so don't give me that "I cannot speak English" crap.

Anyway, keep your PS2 and buy your games.

I use a slid disc. Its alot safer than a chip. You just need to remove one thing and you good. I dont have the slim PS2 but i assume itll be fine on yours.
If you want to be carefull yet are desprate just buy a Japanese PS2.

*edit* Oh by the way i suggest buying the games. PS2 games arent gone yet so you can still buy them. Burning is mean and hurts my pay
