Thread: MUGEN anyone?

does anyone here play mugen? It's a free downloadable 2-D fighting system where you can download characters and stages from just about any 2-D fighting game out there. From the streetfighter series to King of fighters, samurai showdown, guilty gear and even melty blood.
Anyway I was wondering if any of you play it and if so, do you know any good websites where I can download characters based on anime and manga?
I've only been able to find ones from Dragonball and they don't really interest me much. It would be great if you could tell me some sites or links.

there is a guy on youtube that has a whole batch of characters ranging from DBZ to MK, KOF, SF, even Naruto, his name is aznpikachu sumtin or sumtin like that hold up jus look at this and leave him a message. i'm sure he'll help u find some characters

thanks for the info. In particular I've been looking for some good naruto characters. I've got a very good Gaara and a fairly good rock Lee and Kiba but I haven't been able to find any other good ones.

do kno where i can download a mugen or r u able to send the program via email or messenger

I could never get it to work, so I gave up.

go to wikipedia and search it then they give you some links to download it and some useful sites about where to get characters. But I'd be happy to try and send you the characters I've found (125 ^^ mainly from king of fiighters,garou: mark of the wolf, street fighter, guilty gear, melty blood, last blade and samurai showdown)since it does take a seriously long time to find characters if you can't read japanese, especially if japanese and chinese characters don't display correctly on your computer half the time.

say mojo, did you try any of the Mugen tutorials on youtube? If you haven't I would strongly recommend giving it another shot. They are very useful. However If you mean the whole thing doesn't work at all then you might have accidentally changed some of the code in .def files or something. In which case you'd have to re-download and start from scratch.

uh oh my first double post. I'm so ashamed.

I used to play Mugen often by using KOF, SF, SS and many other characters.
The characters were sooooo uneven that I stop playing it. When 1 character is faster and does 5x the damage normally.

Since many of the characters have the same speed and damage as the games they are in the game gets boring with so many characters.

Now I just play arcade games such as CPS1 & CPS2 games.
I also used to play MAME very often because those are some good classics.

You know there also something funny about the game - there people out there play nude version of the game

Can't we just use Google Image Search?
