it's not as if it was untrue in most videogames...
in online games, people from the same country tend to work with each other against the others, and so on... and in offline game, almost all rpg/fps/... include genocide

Ew, I'm thoroughly disgusted. I understand where these Korean gamers are coming from, but it's a little unfair to go attacking someone just because they're Chinese.
In the end, I don't care about this because it's only a video game...but it still makes my brain ring of Rwanda and Darfur. It may be ridiculous to compare virtual massacre with real death, but the basic factor of hatred between ethnicities is there nonetheless.

Of course,this is all b/c of the chinese hackers that stole over 220,000 Corean identities,which they used to get on the Lineage II Corean servers. Since if youve read,theres a big market in the Corean servers where they pay real cash for in-game items.To a point where there are Chinese sweat shops...

Not exactly a problem, if you ask me. They are the Korean servers after all, and while it may be a little mean, it's no worse than what we do on this site to the idiot n00bs.

i think the one gamer they quoted isnt the brightest in the bunch - "they chinese cuz they dont speak korean" gee wiz, he sure narrowed it down! (finds korean speaking chinese guy- woah!)

im actually with the koreans on this, if they have thier own servers they dont need to be using the korean ones, i know it may sound a bit wrong, but its really annoyin in mmorpgs.
(also when i first saw this topic i thought for sure itd be about gun and the massive indian killin)

hmm.. so take WoW as an example, asians(that speaks english)/australians cant play on US servers since the asian servers are mostly for non english speaking community? and the americans should band up and grief asians whenever they see one? and americans that got night shifts shouldnt play on oceanic time servers (australians) since they want to play on peak times and non americans should band together and grief them?

edit: and like i used to say, they pay for their game time, and since/if (dunno about this game though) the game company doesnt restrict it, they can play on whatever servers they want..
