Which SILENT HILL game is best????

i say the first or second, cause the third was kinda crappy

I still say first one.

umm... i havent played the first or the second one but i played the 3rd & 4th. i liked silent hill 4 soooo creeeepy. the ghost of Cynthia scared the hell out of me!!! >_<

I played silent kill 4 and 1

The second, by far. I like the first game but the superior graphics and, in my opinion, superior story edged the second over it quite a bit. I never played the third (I don't have a PS2) and I really didn't like the fourth very much at all. Those damn ghosts were more obnoxious than scary.
