Do you realise why things get delayed? Would have rather they released it earlier, but you only got what was essentially a demo?

as long as it is free or really cheap, yeah
well at least smth for a quick fix, after you broke your (nintendo) promises

if you remember capcom did this long time a go on ps1 with their RE2, it was delayed several times, then came out a demo version first, which can only be played until certain parts of the game. So why not?

    taken from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resident_Evil_2
"Resident Evil 2 was initially scheduled for a March, 1997 release but as the release date approached, producer Shinji Mikami and the development staff were unsatisfied with the direction the game was taking. Rather than release a game they were unsatisfied with, Capcom took the risk of cancelling the nearly-completed version of Resident Evil 2 (now dubbed Resident Evil 1.5) and started the project again from scratch.

Yoshiki Okamoto hired Japanese TV writer Noboru Sugimura as a story consultant. Sugimura had formed Flagship with Okamoto and has written most of the Resident Evil games up until the release of Resident Evil 4. Several changes were made to the scenario, the most notable being the game's heroine, who was redesigned and rewritten to be Claire Redfield, the sister of the male hero from the first game.

Since revamping Resident Evil 2 delayed the release of the game by nearly a year, Capcom released an updated version of the original Resident Evil, titled Resident Evil: Director's Cut, which came packaged with a Resident Evil 2 demo, in order to appease consumers.

Resident Evil 2 was finally released on January, 1998 in North America and Japan and garnered generally positive reviews from the press."

hehehe sorry death incarnate, I have to tell all the background story.

the point is nintendo didn't give us a compensation (demo version or whatever it is) to the customer for breaking their promises.

I am a nintendo die hard fan,at first i had my doubts abt the controller, but after i saw the press conference my judgment completely changed, that control really is something, but they are taking a big, real big risk of isolating themself with it,like the N64 i hope that wont happen, and at first i thought that wii was a strange name, but after a week, talking abt Wii,it actually doesnt sound strange anymore, its just like they said in the press conference, its just like google.I hope that they can get a chance,Big N is really better developers than sony or microsoft will ever be,even if they screw up a lot, they like to take risks, and if it doenst turn out like sega, evryone will be happy.

I think Nintendo's not stupid enough to take risks, everything is planned, the contoller itself was absolutely genius, and the name is AWESOME as well, i don't know what you guys are on about, but

    WWWIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIi

    it's awesome,

also i'll get back to my original point about nintendo planning everything, i mean seriously, they're gona do alot surveys and they're gona get results from that and basically learn from them, i'm guess right now that they've learnt that lots of people don't want to spend that much money on a console (which is one reason why i'll believe that ps3 won't ship 7 million units by the end of the year as they have been stating for the past few months)

i mean seriously, would you rather buy an inovative console cheap, or a graphics whore console for about $200-400 extra?

and then that's where nintendo's sinister plan is going to come in, they're gona have expansion slots, i seriously can smell their plan from here, after about a year or so, they're probably gona release an expansion slot for the Wii just like they did for the n64 (i was devastated when i couldn't play majora's mask because i didn't have enough memory)

but then again i could be wrong

They are going to be realesed on the same time as the Wii realese atleast Zelda: Twilight Princess will.. And it also looks very cool on the Wii!
