You can dress him up in as much cyborg gear as you want, at the end of the day he is still a pansy compared to snake, and snake isn't even a cyborg (aside from the nano machines).

Why should I when I have MGS2? Anyways he may be "alright" but he can't compare to snake no matter how old snake is. My vision of Raiden changed ever since MGS3. Yes those of you who pick up have yourself a cookie. That changed my views on him somewhat even though it wasn't him.

Raiden was an okay character. At the very least he didn't whine like Shinji Ikari.
