Yep, that's what I was saying.

I have small hands, you lucky thing. BUT it means that I can laugh at the people who find the DS lite too small.

It's not official - they claimed the same thing about the PS2, but not quite as publically, to get around some import tax. The courts have ruled that the PS2 is not a computer, and may do the same with the PS3.

I think Sony may have dropped the torch this generation, the price alone is huge but expected for what you get (essentially a blu-ray player), but the problem comes from whether the market chooses to pick up HD-DVD or Blu-Ray (it's like VHS vs Beta all over again).

The controller isn't an issue, it ain't broke, don't fix it. Lacks originality? Sure. Lacks funtionality? No way.

The controller is safe, the PS3 would be safe if it wasn't for the price (we all know we're gonna own one sooner or later). The control for the Wii is risky, it could either make or break Nintendo this generation (And I don't think they can afford to be 2nd best 3rd year in a row). Sony has gotten cocky and seemed to forget that a large majority of their player base are under 20's with no income of their own.

Still, it's too early to see what Sony plans to do but it seems like Nintendo is running first place in this race right now.

    Yeah,
I like the Nintendo GC controller more than PS2,
I don't why they changed the design to something that's like a remote TV controller, they should have designed it better than that.
but so far I don't diss PS2 controller,

BTW here's a video of PS3 game trailers compilation. Enjoy.

Considering that they have to make it motion sensitive and stuff, I think it's better that it's not in the form of a controller. A controller would seem hard to control and stuff. Plus it would tense up your shoulders. Try it out. Hold a controller and move it around(note that the wii controller is very responsive so you don't have to do extravagant movements). Next, try doing the same thing with a remote. I think that the remote would give you less fatigue.

I just think that the PS controller needs to be a bit more ergonomic. Sort of like the GC but with equal face buttons. Even with my huge hands, I never got a cramp with the GC controller.

is it jus me or did ps3 over did it, i mean yea everyone knows its hella expensive but like everyone seems to forget the little things
600$ and like a 8% sales tax that makes it like 648$ not to mention a like 30$ controller which makes it nearing around 700$, with the more xpensive bluray CDs then would each game cost like 60-70$? not to mention that the ps3 is a insane system but if its your only insane system it will seem like its no better(or little better) then the ps2 or xbox

Then again, the PS3 is extremely powerful. You're essentially getting a $1000 + system for 600.

yes truly but it will react as 100$ system if you dont have that 5000$ tv with the 2000$ surrond sound system and all those happy feelin stuff

personally if i try to build a PC or MAC with the capabilities of the PS3 id probably range around 1500$(give or take a few hundred)

Nah. I think it will still be better than an xbox360 even if your TV isn't all that good. All those tech demos and screen caps look amazing so I don't think that it would be as exaggerated as you say it is. Sure it won't be as pretty but then again, the xbox360 won't exactly look up to snuff either.
