Best Protagonist

At the moment I can't think of any that stand out. I prefer protagonists with depth and personality, rather than just spiky hair, flashy clothes and a "cool" personality.

still you can be flashy,cool and uber awesome and yet have depth and personality but it all depends on your perception of the matter.in other words it depends on what you consider as depth and personality.cause just now you gave an arbitrary judgement on a character you don't know.and already classified him in the flashy but dull character category...i'm sorry to tell that things aren't always what they seem.like for example i may like just like an average human chatting on a forum.but i may be an alien life forme trying to study the human mind through a FORUM CHAT (dumb i know but who can tell) in the end hasty jugement based on appearances alone isn't good BELIEVE IT not good at all and blalalala whatever...

I like Isaac from Golden Sun (and the rest of the Golden Sun cast, for that matter). He pulls off the not-talking thing so well that seeing him speak in the next game is a SHOCK.

And Tidus~ From FFX~ He's pretty cool, and makes Blitzball look amazingly awesome.
