Believe or not, the first game that made go WOW was final fantasy X. FIrst RPG i played, before that i was meh about video games, now it's like a daily routine![]()
Sonic The Hedgehog - Sega Genisis
Yeah Age of Empires 2 is really cool. I still find it´s the best stratical game ever. Some may say Warcraft 3 is better, but I never really got into it.Hmmm, well, technically pc-games aren't videogames right? But the game that really made me wow was Ages of Empires 2. Of course, whenever I play it now it looks crappy, limited and totally outdated, but that doesn't matter XD.

Well, there was Sonic which was the first game I played that got me interested. But it was Shining Force that actually got me into video games.

ooooh, I was hooked on Super Mario. Sure, I was only about 5 years old at the time, it was amazing to me with the two player stuff and all.
I didn't get into rpg's (my forte) and begin obsessing over games until a super nintendo and nintendo 64 era later, when I got FFX for the PS2. By god, I missed a lot by getting a 64 instead of PS2.
For me it was probably Kirby? Or Duck Hunt? I can't really remember anymore. I always went over to my niece who had the nintendo and I was always playing it.
After awhile I got the supernintendo and was totally hooked on SuperMario World and Donkey Kong and I would go over to my neighbour very often cuz their son had the sega and I loved playing sonic on it with him XD
I really got into RPG (which now is also my favourite genre) after my best friend introduced me to Golden Sun. After playing Golden Sun I sought out a lot of other RPG, which were all for the PS(2) with a few exceptions.
My first video game was a lame one. And that was Star Tropics or whatever, for the NES. At the impressionable age of 5, I thought that game was the bomb. Now I think it's shit. But, meh, I've been playing games ever since, so it counts.
Mario 64. Hands down, it's the best game to start yourself off with when you don't have a playstation in '10 years ago' time.
After that, Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Best RPG I've played after Star Ocean III.
