Thread: Favorite Supporting Characters

uhhh... screw all the melodromatic sissy lead wusses, lets give it up for the characters that make SENSE and do things normal people would, the people that actually help along the way and keep things interesting so the player doesnt shoot himself in the face while watching the main characters bitch and moan about thier emotional childhood inconsistencies

i say my favorite is probably Ashley from Resident Evil 4, shes hawt and a total pussy but shes cool and she soooo wanted Leon to tap that by the end of the game.

Junior from Xenosaga, Lulu from Final Fantasy X, Cid from Final Fantasy VII, and Vyers from Disgaea: Hour of Darkness round out the top 5

Sienna from Phantom Brave gets an honorable mention

I like Wakka from FFX. He's so crazy. =D There are a million other reasons for him, too.

Tatl from Majora's Mask, too. She's not as annoying as Navi, anyway.

damn right and the fact she went all preggers in FFX-2 graduates her to uber-fucking-hawt-MILF

but otherwise that she kicked ass as a spellcaster, shes been my favorite out of all the FFX magic using characters

I still like Wakka better. On the other hand, I'm female. Still, Tidus is hotter.

Does Shuyin count? He's the villain of X-2 but he's still hot. And plays the keyboard. Or whatever that thing is.

riku is badass...hes freaking awesome...he kicks ass and has emotional drama.

I usually like the supporting cast better than the main character.

Skies of Arcadia - Lawrence. He just looks cool. Then you use the crew attack and he waves around this sword and looks so cool that you try to add him as a party member, then you find out that you can't, and then you cry yourself to sleep because you're stuck with a choice between Enrique, Drachma, or Gilder instead. (Okay, Gilder is cool too...but his attacks are lame.)

Tales of Symphonia - Zelos. So much more interesting than Lloyd. Has a tragic past, but he never tells you about it and you have to piece it together (unless you make a certain choice and he tries to kill you). And: Yuan. It does not get better than Yuan. This guy is nuts. Not only does he randomly show up everywhere, he also has some kind of bizarre radio equipment appear out of thin air in the middle of a serious scene. (For those of you who've played, it's right after the fight with Forcystus.) It was very much a Charlie's Angels moment.

And I'm sure there are more, but I can't think of them at the moment...
