Thread: A real plot... Or do we like it better as it is?

Some might argue with me, but I say Futari Ecchi doesn't have a plot, is this a good thing or should we want a more interwoven story?
Personally I like this manga because it is (somewhat) informational as well as pokes fun at the kinky stuff other manga's wouldn't dare to mention. But at the same time I think a true storyline would be good, your thoughts?

I agree it doesn't have much of a plot. I love the manga, its incredibly addictive, but I think it needs more story. Their marriage seems fake. Knew each other for 3 months before getting married and their first kiss was when he proposed to her...and it was an accident. I know they care about each other but I haven't seen Makoto tell Yura he loves her or vice versa. Then again ive only read 4 volumes and theres like 30+ right? Instead of the needless fantasy sex scenes, a little story and development of the characters would be nice.

I'm quite happy with very little story.
Put it this way, I also like Maka Maka, which has no story and no information, but what it does have is lesbians having sex.

FE has a good story, its supposed to be a guide for a couples sex life, if it strayed and got too much character development and focused less on Yura and her hubby's sexual conquests it just wouldn't feel the same.

I think FE is good as it is too. It's seems weird to throw in a plot when it's suppose to be an informational thing.

FE has no real story. The whole thing is just an elaborate excuse to have a bunch of sex scenes and be "informative".

I think, FE is pretty hilarious, I was laughing nearly 99% of the time while reading it. x)

i dunt care about the plot. as long as it teaches me how to please.

baka...u have to care about the plot to enjoy the manga...
but i think its really cool manga..
