Has anyone ever noticed,
That Katsu Aki tends to draw characters with really wide heads/eyes?
-
No, not more than in other Manga.
-
I thought that's the speciality of a manga - big, shiny eyes so that they can potray emotion.
-
Umm... I think it's their style to illustrate the emotions of the character more easy and noticable... That's my opinion...
-
yes i have noticed, i have also noticed this in almost every other manga maybe this is some sort of spooky coincedence?!?!? haha JK but yes thats how most manga's are
-
does'nt like the style of hair...
-
Wider heads, and larger eyes are generally the characteristics that make "cuter" anime characters, so the art doesn't seem based entirely off horny couples and adds more "education" to it.
-
Umm not really. I've seen bigger eyes. Some shoujo artist go overboard with the huge eyes. They take up about half of the face
-
its his style... as long as it doesnt detract from the story why do you care?
wait a second... was this necroed??? DAMNIT >_____>
I like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.
I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,
before the ship goes down, I've been making amends by making the rounds before the whole world ends

Well, the eyes are the most expressive part of the face. Even if someone smiles at you, you can tell if they are crying on the inside by looking at their eyes. Manga artists tend to exagerate the eyes in order to convey some of the emotion felt by the character. And it sells a $&^% load of books because of the 'cute' factor
