Thread: ch. 100

I read the new chapter from Sugoi scanlations or whatever. Im sure its coming out on onemanga tonight or tomorrow.

I had to post about this without spoiling anything. this was a turn for the worse for me, let's just say mustang and his gang are having a bit of trouble.

Things are explained a little bit better, and the conclusion (?) of greedlin vs bradley.

It was a bit anticlimatic for Hoenheim to end up like that... also unintentionally funny. So finally Mustang's making the big leap(even though he should know by now that the dead can't be resurrected). I wonder what body part he'll lose. It'll be ironic if it's his left eye and he has to wear an eyepatch like in the anime.

Hmm. Too much pages wasted on dead grandpa and the briggs dude.
Greedlin acts as if Bradley died or has become unable to fight. That's kinda risky to assume that.
Also, hat happened to Aru? he doesn't seem to be present in his armor.

But last pages were truly awesome. I thought this dude's gonna use Liza as a hostage to make Roy do it, but slicing her throat right off the bat? Unexpected.

This manga might end bad for the good guys xD
They all are in some sort of trouble...

And I hope Mustang won´t try to do the human transmutation - he knows he can´t revive her (he should somehow try to save her life, she ain´t REALLY dead yet )

Agreed. a few chapters ago i was thinking oh hoenheim is pretty badass and i wonder if he'll put up a fight. And then u see him later and he got entirely owned. haha.

Your right, Riza can't entirely be considered dead yet. i mean. she'll be dead in a few seconds, but maybe mustang can do something to heal her? he has stated before that his healing alchemy sucks balls, but he's also said before that with the famous phil. stone he could save someone dying.

I hope mustang opens the gate for her. she's my favorite heroine in anime atm, and i know i would open the gate to save her. hehe, i would also completely destroy the people who sliced her neck (pouts).

plz don't die!!! im impatient, i have to wait a month to find out what happens in the next few seconds which has her life in the balance.

i thought about it again. the gate only opens through human transmutation, therefore riza has to die for mustang to try to open it. sadness, if only mustang knows wat edward knows, that if u transmute yourself u can open the gate. damnit. this is so depressing for me, i have this tiny fragment of hope for the next month, but it'll prolly be shattered on the first page.

I just hope we'll see Mustangs decision/action, and not some lame deus ex machina.

i don't think so. After all this time, FMA still feels like shonen, and we all know how shonen mangas usually end.

Doesn't Scar know a lil bit of Rentanjutsu, or whatever alchemy from Xing? oh God, there should be a way to avoid the human transmutation...

I really think this is one of those mangas where right up to the last few chapters things will look like the heroes will have absolutely no chance of pulling out with only their experiences and with all of their lives.

At this point the people I'm most scared about not making it through the end is Hawkeye (only came about after this chapter), Roy (if Hawkeye's situation doesn't change for the better), Scar, Izumi (one of the chosen and her sacrifice really screwed up her body), Al (because of his body situation), and Hoenheim. In fact I think the only person we can guarantee that will die is Hoenheim because of his age and he wouldn't have anything to do after father is gone.

Winry won't be involved until the end in the direct aftermath and the what are they doing now chapters.

Nice Glacia cameo and it even brought a key plot point, the promised day involves a solar eclipse.

I really don't think Aru's death is possible. and Mustang probably has a huge fanbase in japan, so i'd count him out as well.

I don't care who dies, just please Arakawa, don't make it another Dramatic Self-Sacrifice (tm).
I'm sick of these.
At this point, the only character that I really hope not to see dead is Bradley.
