Chapter 92

I have to agree that it was indeed a great chapter! Loved the fight, even if it wasn't the one I was expecting.

Hey Witcher, just out of curriosity, where does it say that Pride has a carbon weakness? I thought that his weakness was that he can't function without light.

Also, on no.2, I can agree with you on Marcoh, but he knew the "Lion King" was there, so he could of mentioned it prior breaking up (a "wait for an opening" or "wait for them to split up" would suffice). He had to find Marcoh in there somewhere though, because he did hand-off his stone (pure accident?).

As far as 3 is concerned, I fully, one hundred percent, agree, Kimblee looks to have bit the dust. True he has a PS in his mouth, but he could easily bite it (pun not intended) before he manages to mend the skin. To those of you who say that he can't do it because of lack of knowledge... Ed used a PS to mend his wounds, and he isn't a Medic type either.

As for your final comment, well that's life. There are a lot of little things in FMA that didn't happen because of lifes little quirks. I mean do you really think Ed would be allies with Scar if they didn't have all these little ties? Just another reason to like FMA!

Thats the thing though Ed did have the knowledge to mend up himself because of his experience passing through the gate and what he did to get out of Gluttony, plus that was only temporary he still needed medical attention. Kimbley doesn't have that, when he got thrashed by Scar the doctor with the gold tooth had to heal him. Kimbley is screwed.

by "carbon weakness", he means that Pride can't pierce rearranged carbon structures (aka diamond - one of the hardest substance in the world). still, al learnt a lot from the last fight, by using the flashbangs and sealing - pretty awesome

good fights, it would've been nice if they also advanced the plot somehow though. i guess there's only so many pages in a chapter =\

it'd be nice to see crimson dead, but somehow i think he'll find a way to survive. maybe using the stone to cause an explosion to escape, then using it again to seal up the wound ? then again, like some said, he isn't a medical alchemist, i doubt he has any experience whatsoever with healing.

man, can't wait till the next chapter

Well, actually, I think all he needs to know is the basic composition of a human body and reproduce them with the stone. The only flaw to him regenerating on his own that I can see from right now is that he needs his hands to set up the circle...

If this was just another series, i would agree with you but since FMA is so plot heavy in pretty much every chapter, an action filled one is more than welcome.

That´s why i don´t think he´ll die just now, though i´m sure he´ll be crippled from Heinkel´s bite.

Kimblee's a douche bag but he's a good character. Anyone else might have died from that bite but somehow i can see him surviving.

Hah this chapters an example of why this mangas so great. 2 simultaneous fights, both really well thought out and drawn great, In mangas like, say bleach (using shounen to compare shounen) the art is so all over the place that i can't really tell whats going on during fights. In FMA, i can picture exactly how these played out in real time...Greatness.

Oh, and this fights far and away Als best, using multiple techniques, and im sorry, making a sword out of his severed foot that was thrown back at him is just badass

An bleach has alot of negative space too. Like one page would have like 3 figures barely moving or something. The fights in FMA have amazing progression. I cant wait till it comes out on anime.

besides the fluidity and creativity of the fight sequences, they also don't feel as forced in FMA

most shounens: a long queue of rigid 1-on-1 fights to show who's stronger than who. this becomes incredibly predictable. example, Sound 5 in Naruto gets introduced, they pair off against konoha genins. grimmjow brings a bunch of arrancar to karakura town. they pair off against shinigamis.

fma: fights fits into the context of the story - whoever happens to be there chips in on the fight. you'll have bunch of officers vs scar, crimson+pride vs al, intruders vs chimera-guards/homunculi, and yes, even the occasional 1-v-1 like ed vs greed

why don't all of you guys compared it with one piece??
