lots of action, great chapter. we'll finally see the showdown between the powerful-est protagonist vs the powerful-est antagonist. wonder how it turns out. i'm think hohenheim might possibly lose, thus ceding the star role to ed.

man, i hope al wins. it'd be insanely hard to win against those 2, but let's see what al comes up with his new power-up.

Yes, these recent developments are quite nice.

Here's my prediction for things to come: Hohenheim will get his butt wooped, but before Father Homunculus absorbs him or whatever, Ed, Scar and co will show up to help, after having cleared those zombies in some way.

But I'm really looking forward to what will come of Al's battle.

Also, I wonder what will happen now that Envy's recovered.

Maybe some Mustang action?

Yes! Can't wait for next month. Hoenheim vs. Father and Al vs. Kimblee/Pride will go down in the annals of manga history as the best fights ever!(I hope) Not so sure about Armstrong vs. Sloth, though. Couldn't they bring Bradley back and have him face her in a swordfight?

I think Bradley will either face Mustang or Greed; somehow I don't picture him and Armstrong fighting.
It'd be a nice fight, maybe, but I don't put too much faith in her, and also, there'd be no "real" reason for them to fight. If we go by that reasoning, Mustang should end up facing Envy, and Ling would face Bradley. Armstrong and Sloth is good enough.

I think that little girl can take down Envy by herself at the moment. Her abilities aren't that bad and Envy has very few souls compared to the PS.

I´m thinking Greed since he has something of a personal feud with him, for his original defeat and capture and then the fight he had with Bradley after realizing he killed one of his henchmen.

I don´t know, that fact that Armstrong is just a human will be one of those cases where, despite the odds being against her, she´ll eventually come around in some fashion. That´s to say, she´ll probably get some help. Sloth doesn´t strike me as someone with a unexpected secret weapon, if anything he´ll only rely on his absurd strength.

Pretty curious to see how the fight between Hohenheim and the Homunculus will turn out. I doubt that Hohen will win though.

i agree with Greed vs Pride because of the history they had. similarly, it should be Mustang vs Envy - Envy is the one that killed Hughes, and Mustang's been itching for revenge since then.

it looks like we're all in agreement that Hohenheim will lose. i suppose it only makes sense: if hohenheim wins, then it'd be over already since Father is the "last boss"
