BONES will start A new anime of Full Metal Alchemist !?

If that's true, I hope that BONES could make a really good Anime, because many series got their second or even their third parts, and never was as good as the original one.

That could be excellent news for the fans.

I just hope it'll be a proper adaptation of the manga, rather than a continuation of the first anime series.

Well, even though the anime didn't follow the manga, which I prefer, I thought the anime was still good. However as it seems that the manga if finishing they could start over and do it directly to the source, because the animation was pretty good.

I watched the anime but I´m not reading the manga - it´s still ongoing right?(when are the chaps released anyway ?)
Cuz I´ll start reading the manga if it isn´t to slow paced.... (or I´ll read it anyway cuz it´s awesome^^)

A new anime adaption sounds good - and I think it will continue with the manga plot,cuz the first part of the anime had the film to conclude it (kinda,if I remind correctly....lol)

it's still on-going. chapters are released once a month. the final battle is underway - i predict 10-20 chapters before we see the conclusion of the series.

the manga is *not* slow-paced and is made of awesome, you should definitely read it. i hope the anime does true justice to the manga... i'd definitely watch it.

okay,thanks for your answer - I´m going to read this manga too (I just have to finish some mangas before that,I´m currently reading around 4 or 5 finished mangas - and Ranma 1/2 has fuc**** 48 books/volumes xDD)

With slow paced I just meant that perhaps if the autor has too much breaks or something (but I guess I can live with 1 chap a month, since the manga will end "soon" anyway^^)

the author isnt taking breaks, she has been putting out only 1 chapter a month the whole time if im not mistaken.

And its usually 45 or so pages long.

Consider naruto which barely averages 17 a week and shes putting out 3 "naruto sized" chapters in a month (so shes really not that slow) with absolutely awesome art and a great plot.

+ full mental alchemists plot is too convoluted for a weekly release imo

But to be on-topic again,let´s discuss about the film.Were do you guys think the anime will go on if it´s based on the manga (I can´t say anything cuz I haven´t read the manga xD)
