Thread: Chapter 83

I like this chapter, for Ling it is additional character development^^

We also know he can never fully overtake Greed now because greed will always retake him over.

On all other fronts this chapter would be what you call the "calm before the storm"

So yes, its a little slower then normal, but does not mean bad in the slightest

stuff happened and plot did advance, yes. but pick almost any other chapter from this manga, and it will most likely contain better drama/action/plot. off the top of my head: every chapter for the introduction arc, ishbal flashback arc, invasion of homunculus base arc - were vastly funner to read, imo

^Really? I hated the Lior introduction arc. Thought it was boring as hell in fact.
To me this chapter is 10x better that that arc as a whole was.

the whole chapter is a setup for the things to come. I do hope Ling will influence Greed a bit more. It's funny how Greed is actually starting to listen to him even if he is reluctant in some ways.

Love the "House wife"-part

I loved this chapter because a lot of things happened in it. My favourite was when they tried to send the message to Mustang, which came from Grumman, than to Riza's friend... till Havoc offers it as a cigarette for Roy who's hiding in his room. I really liked that part.
