well It's kind of expected but I never thought about marco can own envy so much....

Awesome, so now they finally know how to destroy them, hopefully Father wont be able to create a new envy without whatever that thing was that came out of him. Like he did with Greed.

he probably will, the only real question is how fast can he be to find this out. anyway is envy dead? because he turned into that little embryo chameleon thing.

hm, first of all, Envy doesn't seem to be dead yet - they'll probably keep his as a hostage for now. second of all, Father won't be able to recreate his like Greed - for Greed, he took back the philosopher stone when he melted him. but Envy's was destroyed - similar to Lust, who ran out of "lives" and her philosopher stone got destroyed. note that Lust was never recreated.

the ambush set for envy was expected....but I also think that envy is as good as dead since marcoh destroy the stone....ohh how awesome....
I got a random theory here..remember when kimblee was told to carve blood in briggs,guess that doesn't mean to destroy briggs...maybe the place where drachma get slaughtered is good enough....

oh damn... i didn't think of that at all. that's a pretty brilliant idea - it would explain why crimson seemed unfazed by the complete annihilation of his troops.

as for the ambush, it really felt like the glasses guy was going to betray them, at least for me.

well if you see the last page of chp 78 where ed is missing is weird.he was supposed taken to a doctor but that chimera guys already met al then...I think it's an ambush...what is envy actually?when lust died nothing remains but now...a weird alien....in place of envy

no, the chimeras that were going to take him to a doctor are different than the ones that show up with Al. the latter have been beaten earlier on by Ed, and have been with Al since Kimbley escaped from Briggs.

as for the form of Envy, i think it's supposed to reflect the nature of envy - it starts as such a small, insignificant thing, but as you envy more and more people/things it grows into something destructive.

That's not what I meant.When lust is killed by mustang,she just dissapeared and left nothing while envy left that small parasite-like thing.although I think the way they died is different but it's basically the same right?you destroy the stone and voila they're as good as dead.

I think that that is Envy's original body. The human part was a fakade provided by the stone. If Lust and Gluttany are both simular to each other, then neither would be able to come back once the Stone is destroyed (as they are the stone themselves), but like it was for Greed, Envy may have had a "host" body. If that is the case, then if the Stone is destoyed, the Host may still live. I think this is what the mangaka is trying to get at. So in the end I think that Envy was simply a Chimera that could talk, was small enough to escape, and met Father who then gave him a Stone like he did with Ling/Greed. Your thoughts?
