dus n e 1 wunda wat sloth's ability is? i mean, envy had her extendo arms, gluttony his infinite stomach, envy was jst a freakish ungodly mass of...wateva the hell he was and yeh....
also, feel free to discuss teh otha homunculi here

so far, it seems like sloth is a lot more durable (ie thicker armor) than most other homunculi, but besides that, there doesn't seem to be anything special

sloth the lazy....maybe he has some massive power and bottomless stamina...

Envy : The Ultimate....Skin ? (well, his true form was constructed of all beings which were sacrifaced to create philosopher stone).
Wrath : The Ultimate Eye
Greed : The Ultimate Shield
Pride : The Ultimate Being (my guess )
Lust : The Ultimate Lance
Gluttony : The Ultimate Hunger (with the stomach to eat everything and suck it up)

and Sloth..well, he proved to be little impressed by any attack
The Ultimate Ability to not be waken up so easily unless it's a sledgehammer

"dus n e 1 wunda" is it so wrong to learn to spell words properly?

I heard in one place people speculated Sloth's ability was to become impervious to whatever hits him, immune, unproven, but it does sound possible.

I also still wonder a little more about the physics at work with Pride's ability as well, what is it's extent and such? Is he a little like Nara Shikamaru of Naruto in that he cannot bring his shadow too far out into light? I've yet to see him too fond of light yet anyway.

i agree with you for Greed, Lust and and Wrath, since they've been formally introduced as Ultimate _______ already. here's my guesses for the rest:

Envy: has infinite amount of lives, and can shapeshift = Ultimate Combination
Pride: travel/attack through shadows = Ultimate Shadow
Gluttony: eats up everything = Ultimate Stomach
Sloth: ....? (so far, at least)

that's what i'm speculating as well... there really isn't much else to go on

we also found his ability doesn't work when there's absolutely no light. sooo, there needs to be some contrast of light and dark.

Every homunculus has infinite lives till his philosopher's stone-power is used up.

Exactly, the Homunculi uses each soul as a life each time they're killed and once the Philosopher's Stone nucleus is out of souls they can't regenerate anymore. Envy just has a crap load of souls in him, just might take a while to kill em all heh.

Although I think Ed would have used a fair few of them getting through the gate to get out of Gluttony's stomach.

what i meant was Envy seems to be the only one that can draw out each individual life within himself, but i suppose that was redundant with "shapeshift"

i would say sloth is the Ultimate Strength, I mean none of the other homunculus save envy have shown superhuman strength and envy only in his ugliest form.

Lust pretty much just stabs everyone.

Gluttony hasn't shown superhuman strength either, he can eat things but overall he seems to be just as strong as any short fat guy.

Pride is... well, a shadow who can cut things but he doesn't actually use physical strength at all.

Wrath has shown that he fights like a human, faster reflexes certainly and he picks up on enemy weaknesses almost instantly, but normal physical strength.

Greed, well iirc he punched ed in the face and it had the same kinda effect you would expect from a normal soldier type punching ed in the face.

Envy did show superhuman strength when he's in his ugly form, but his physical strength seems to be based on what form he takes and normally he's just like any other guy.
