Manga Recommendations

FMA is by FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR my favorite manga. It's intelligent, the charcters are awesome, it's creative and it has the prospect of romance. The problem is I can't find anything near as good. I like both shounen and shoujo, though I'm not fond of extremes (After all what's action without a little romance or romance without a little action?). Do any loyal FMA fan's have any suggestions?

manga: fooly cooly, One Piece, Ruroni kenshin, Death Note, Love Hina (if your 14 or older^^)

anime: cowboy bebop and outlaw star (ok...so I'm not to big on the animes^^)

Damn i love FMA manga too but i dont think i have good recommendations for ye, i can only tell you what i have read:

Shaman king, tenjou tenge, samurai deeper kyo, Tsubasa reservoir chronicles, one piece, rurouni kenshin, Fooly cooly, mahou sensei negima, air gear, Aiki(its seinen but i like that the main is the strongest from the beginning) Hunter x Hunter (i like a lot this one) dont know more or i forgot them

if you want alot of action with a hint of romance, rurouni kenshin, inuyasha, bleach?, but if you want something along the lines of intellect read death note.

Good thing you have quite nice moderators in this sub-section, because some would ban you for such thread - there is misc manga section for that.

yah, not to mention a lot of the recommendations aren't even close to FMA's quality.

you said you like shonen and shoujo, but if you want to read some good stories try seinen (only if your 16+) there's very good stories. my recommendation for you is Claymore (BTW it's bloodier than FMA)
