    Well, i though Hohenheim's body is rotting slowly. That's why he left her wife, Ed and Al.

    I am just speculating, but Ling was created with a small sized philosopher stone. So maybe if Hohenheim was created with a bigger sized one. He will have a longer life span as Human Homunculus.

    BTW, doesn't anyone wonder who is the creator of the "dark energy" or the master of #23#?

    ^ "Of course he's still alive", doesn't seem like a statement father would make if he were not truly immortal, asides from the fact that Hohenheim is called an "it".

    Even a human homunculus would still retain his or her gender, only full homunculus lacks that distinction.

    Maybe Hohenheim is another kind of homunculus.... since rentanjustsu.... xing alchemy i dunno if i spelled it right...and amerisis is different... maybe together you can make some stronger kind of philosophers stone... But we shall see more and get a better idea when the next chapter comes out hehehe

    remember alchemy in different places are different. like the ishuvalans alchemy is different. or is that the anime?
