well pride was kind of made by father, tho without him knowing at first. so he technically didnt create all the homunculi, cuz pride was made by #23 master.

i wonder what they were trying to accomplish in Xerxes. if your theory is correct, maybe the "master" attempted to give Father the power of God or something (ed remarked that the runes of Xerxes showed throwing God to the earth).

which would make a bit of sense, considering how the Father has the power to control alchemy within the country, and how alchemists in the area make the praying sort of stance.

then again, all of that is just speculation based off really loose evidence.

Dont you guys remember that dr.Marcoh said that amerisis alchemy is based on the energy that the earths crusts creates....

All that father had to do is to use all the energy possible when he did his... what ever move and no one for a certain amount of time can gather the energy to make any kind of alchemy powerrs from amerisis. Thats why Scar and lil asian girl were able to use theirs since they dont use same techniques or energy.....

    EDIT:............

If #23 is father then the blob has to be pride.... cause if its not him then pride wouldn't say hes the first homunculi and father couldnt have created him.

Score is at 4 for homunculi and 6 for #23 right since i think someone dint vote right?

that's what marcoh was taught. but that idea might be - and probably is - false. or else, how could Father control Amestris' alchemy like that (stopping alchemist from being able to use their powers) ? besides, the xingese girl said that she felt a large amount of bodies under the country.

but hoenhain (elric's father) said in chapter 68 "i've seen countless deaths since MY BODY BECAMES WHAT IT IS", for me it looks he wasn't like that his whole life, that he was a normal human at some point, i actually think that #23 was both hoenhain and father, who at some point, probably at their apparently age, separated, maybe when aquiring imortality.

^ Good point, fits well enough with my "expelled his humanity" theory.

Another possibility is that Hohenheim was created (by whatever method) as a probe, we know that he is one of the four sacrifices father has planned so far (along with Ed, Al, and Izumi), so he must have gone through the door (possibly losing his mortality?), whoever father is, he's probably smart enough to want to avoid going through the door personally.

^ Doesn't make a lot of sense, Hohenheim never ages for one thing.
