Liza and Roy IS BACK!
interesting chapter.. too tired to post thoughts on it though. nice to see more stuff explained
He he... i knew that Liza will find the way to tell Roy about original homunculus![]()
I figured out the acronym thing while they were talking. The communication between them is always discreet so it was kind of obvious that the conversation was fixed, especially since it was so boring.
i wonder if those past secret conversations are also coded as acronyms. anyone feel like going back to check ?
^Not really (not me personally anyways). The Hohenheim bit was really surprising. I think we'll see current time Hohenheim next chap and I really hope to see Scar find whatever he was looking for (I forgot already).
The upcoming Ed v Kimbley fight looks exciting as well.
Why is everyone saying that it's Hohenheim? We know that father is human (or somewhat human at least) because Mei said that he is, while Hohenheim is called an "it" by father. That and the fact that it's almost certainly father's dream, and the homunculus was almost certainly Pride, would suggest that the slave boy is father right?
I agree with Adoni now that I think about it
Pride *did* say he was the original homunculis
I think the "Van Hoienhim" (sp? >.<) we just saw may have actually been the boy who becomes father
This may sound weird but I've always had this random thought in my head that Hoienhim and father were once the same person.
Also, since that boys blood gave birth to the homunculis it would make sense (in a twisted sense) for it to grant him the name "father" later on.
edit- which brings up an interesting idea, in what order were the homunculis created?
Lingreed is the most recent
Wrath/Furur bradley the second most recent since greed since original greed didn't know about him
Pride was the first
facts about the others:
sloth- nothing
Envy- that in his body is trapped the souls of that one city, I assume then that Envy is a by product of what happened at that city and therefore would be created at the same time it was destroyed "in a single night".
Lust-nothing
Gluttony- he was a failed attempt at opening the "truth". He's also shown himself to be a lot stupider then the others and a lot more simple minded. I think Gluttony may have been "fathers" second attempt at a Humonculis

Bunny invasion!
But, the slave boy's name IS Van Hohenheim, the black thing in the glass gave him that name. And since the black thing was almost certainly Pride, maybe it was Pride remembering, not father?
Maybe you are right, the slave boy is father, and Pride calls him like that because father's master used his blood to create Pride. That would make sense, but why would Pride call him Hohenheim?
I think Hohenheim is some kind of experiment father did (the 23th one?) related to human transmutation in living people (Ed was wondering about that just before he met Hohenheim, wasn't?). Making a copy of himself, using it as a slave, kind of makes sense.
Then he somehow created Pride and Pride taught Hoheinheim how to use alchemy. Hohenheim did something and ended up seeing the "truth", turning to be one of the valuable human sacrifices father need to do whatever he is doing.
Oh, well, that's my theory. Hope we'll find out more about that soon, but i doubt that next chapter will continue this flashback...
