thanks Steal ! FMA makes everything better =) time to finally give up on FTA... from the looks of their site, it looks like they're down for the next little bit. who do people recommend for FMA scanlation ?

oyy, can't wait till the trans/scans come out, that last part looks very intriguing =\

I like TMI scans better than FTA but sometimes they can be slower in scanlating.


Edit: The link Steal provided has mq scans and if arent that fussy, you can go read it to find out what happens first before the hq scans are out. I've just read it and it's like a "No Al, Ed, you're falling into Father's trap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" kinda thing.

I hate these cliffhangers on monthly manga's. Instead of a week wait, you have a month to figure out.

But overall it was kind of a boring chapter till the end. Who's do you think's going to be the 5th name?

I thought the chap was boring too. By the way, wasn't that Ling on p44 top right panel? We haven't seen him since he turned into Greed.

I don't think Father has a 5th just yet. All the people selected seem to be alchemists that Ed and Al know. Roy might be selected as the 5th.

I thought the 5th was going to be Roy. The Fuhrer Wrath said something about getting Roy to open some gate and using him when the time is rightinstead of killing him for knowing too much.

Working together with Scar now...I wonder how long that will last.

Yeah there was a Ling sighting, which probably won't lead to anything because he is still sitting on his ass with Father.

I just want to know what it was that Roy's master discovered.

Hope that it turns out to something like creating antimatter, or at the least a fusion reaction, logical enough considering the fact that right now Roy uses electrolysis to provide hydrogen for his fires.

i'm almost certain that Roy's master's secret was just flame alchemy:

1 - he said that roy will find the secret on riza's back
2 - riza tells roy to burn her back so that another flame alchemist won't be born

although flame alchemy *is* pretty powerful, it would be a bit of a letdown if that was all there was to the secret. hawkeye made it sound pretty impressive - "i discovered the strongest form of alchemy, and became satisfied".

i'll have to agree with other people that this month's chapter was slow-ish. somehow i don't think the 5th sacrifice will be mustang (though he is labelled a "potential"):

all the people that are chosen as sacrifices have opened the Gates (in hohenheim's case, it's a maybe). mustang doesn't seem to be one that will do such a reckless act. unless riza dies or something. hmm....

We don't know if #2 actually happened though do we?

If it's really that strong I would guess that it must optimize equivalent exchange in some way, going through the gate allows for channeling alchemical energies directly through the body and an efficient molding of matter, the equivalent optimization for energy (or fire as it were) would be antimatter, which is a 100% conversion process if it goes through annihilation.
