Thread: Scenes that make FMA

What FMA scene made you go wow? Made reading FMA such an addiction? Defines the manga?

For me, there are way too many to list, but the top few that come to mind:

- opening scene: bloody, legless Ed near a transmutation circle, and a caption that went "A lesson without pain is meaningless"

- Hughs' death =\ just when he found out the truth behind the truth, and put up such an awesome fight too

- Hugh's funeral: "It's raining"

- Pride revealed to be Salim - a more recent one

Erm, mine is all the little scenes where Ed is totally freaking out about his height...hehehe it makes the comic so funny ^^ I would upload some of them for a good laugh but i can't find them right now ;;;

- When Ed told rose to stand up because she still has perfect legs.
- Shou Tucker arc, when Nina cried for Tucker and the Ed in rain scene
- Ed's fight at the prison with the armour and he told them that if he didnt accept that they were humans, he wont be accepting Al.
- Hughe's funeral and winry on the train with the pie
- And yea, Ed freaking out about his height

All i can recall at the moment i guess. I need to go study for my chem test now. Hur.

just a minor scene, really, but Ed admitting he's SHORT???? that was the best.

[edit] Oh yea, the scene where Ed was reciting from the periodic table was pretty funny, too ^^

ed admitting his height is a very rare thing >D i believe he did it only one other time, when his sensei called him a shrimp

and by reciting the periodic table, you mean the beginning where he says all the elements that make up the human body ?

the best scenes are the ones with the almighty cow, every one of them :3 (=> manga, not anime)

no, no, i mean when Ed was being fixed by WInry, and all of a sudden Riza's question "You love WInry don't you?" popped into Ed's head, and Ed brain snaps because of the embarassment and he starts reciting the periodic table. LOL chapter 70. here.

yea but funny scenes are not the only one that make FMA good. Hughes funeral....definitely was one of the best. And like windshadow said earlier, the scene where Ed told Roze to stand up because she still has two good legs.

if you only read the scanlations i'm not sure if she is on it, but you can see her at least at the beginning and end (for the bonuses) of each manga (the cow being the mangaka lol, i love how she pictures herself xD)

the omakes are really great, but they aren't in the scanlations ( afaik.. )

after the scene in the pic posted above she's thinking "I'm in love wit THIS guy?" and seems to be annoyed
