Thread: Does the manga go on pass the anime

Does the manga go on pass the anime? If so do you know what chapter the anime left off ? Also where can I find all the chapters for fma?

the manga and the anime only start similarly. they start branching off into their own storyline fairly early on (don't know what chapter exactly). the chapters can be found ... under "Full Metal Alchemist" link at the top, maybe ? - -;;

oh thanks for the info, ya I didnt realize the site had fma till after I posted that. Eh I guess i'll just start from the beginning .

It starts diverging around Greed's gang's deaths. Like you have them going in the sewers to escape but they end up getting caught and killed.

You wouldn't happen to know what chapter that would be by any chance would you?

Well I watched the anime, but it has been a while so I will probably just start from the beginning anyways.

To be rather blunt about it; the very first chapters don't happen the same way and it continues to be as such throughout the story. Don't be expecting the same Lust from the show, or Dante to show up, or even Envy to act the same way.

Yeah reading it from the beginning is definately a must, even though you have seen the anime.

so it didn't end the same way?... maybe i should read the manga then... cause the anime was missing something
